By creating an account or using TripSlate ("the Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the Service. These Terms apply to all users, including free and paid plan subscribers.
TripSlate is a trip organization tool that allows users to plan and manage travel itineraries, including stops, day plans, activities, lodging notes, and budgets. The Service is provided by TripSlate ("we," "us," or "our"), operated from the United States.
TripSlate is a trip workspace — not a booking engine, travel marketplace, or navigation tool. We do not make reservations, sell travel products, or provide travel advice.
TripSlate offers both free and paid subscription plans. Free plans may have limits on the number of trips or features available. Paid plans are billed on a recurring basis as described at the time of purchase.
You own the trip data, notes, and content you create in TripSlate. By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to store and display your content solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you.
You are responsible for your content. You agree not to use the Service to store or share content that is illegal, harmful, or violates the rights of others.
You agree not to:
We aim to keep TripSlate available at all times but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service at any time. We will provide reasonable notice for significant changes that affect paid subscribers.
You may delete your account at any time from your account settings. We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms. Upon termination, your data will be deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be error-free, uninterrupted, or that your data will never be lost. You use the Service at your own risk.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, TripSlate shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of data, arising from your use of or inability to use the Service. Our total liability to you for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Texas.
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or by posting a notice in the app. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
